This zany little company is the brainchild of my husband, Chad.  He’s such a goofball!  A few years back I hosted an At Home America party in our home.  Chad took our girls out for the evening so that we could have the party in peace!  When he returned, he said the 9 words that etched themselves into my heart “hey, why don’t you sell your quilt stuff this way?!”  I kind of laughed and then said “um, yeah… why DON’T I sell my quilt stuff this way?”  A company was born.

It is our goal to HAVE FUN. Honestly, after a family tragedy in 2001, I learned firsthand that our moments are precious and that what we do in this life matters. I love to quilt. I'm not an expert quilter and my projects usually all contain a mistake… but it makes me happy to quilt and to give handmade gifts to people in my life. I think you feel the same way. So ~ let's have a party. Let's gather a group of women, throw a few appetizers around and let's settle in for a night of laughing, eating, sharing stories and talking about quilts!

Our parties can take whatever format you'd like. Experienced quilters are bound to find something new, or be mesmerized by the new trinkets, gadgets and fabric that are constantly rolling out. Beginner quilters will enjoy learning a new tip or two and sharing any trepidations or lessons learned. And finally, I know there is a HUGE market of people who would love to learn how to quilt. To be honest, I'm not sure we can teach them how to quilt in one setting. But we may be able to set up a few teaching sessions to get them on their way, or we might be able to provide incentive and help hook them up to a local quilting class. This company will ever be expanding. I will be branching out into the gift realm too so that there is something for everyone.
